The OLD TROUT B&B on Orcas Island

Escape to tranquility. The B&B is located on quiet wooded acreage easily accessible for the bicyclist or motorist. A lovely pond wraps around two sides of the contemporary cedar lodge. From the inn’s five different decks and patios you can view beautiful island sunsets reflected in the quiet water or watch ducks cavorting on the pond. The sound of the waterfall tumbling down the rocks will inspire you to forget all of your cares. For your enjoyment each suite has a private jacuzzi overlooking the pond.

Enjoy an exceptional breakfast and choose to have it elegantly presented in the dining room, in the privacy of your room, or on the deck while you gaze at the many types of birds that frequent the pond and surrounding vegetation. Afternoon refreshments are served on the deck or in our lovely living room. We beverages not included. All vegatables, herbs and flowers are from our garden.

Picnic in the woods or by the pond, play ping pong or bocce, relax in the jacuzzi, take a short drive to the Orcas Golf Course for a round of golf, walk in our two acres of garden or have a massage. We'll schedule your whale watching tour, kayaking or sailing adventure. Visit Moran State Park with over 30 miles of hiking and bike trails. - Do not forget Moran State Park and Turtleback Mountain!

Orcas Island is frequently chosen as "the best place to visit" among the 172 islands lying in the San Juan archipelago.

Access to the island is by an unforgettable ferry trip from Anacortes. Majestic views of the island chain help prepare you for what is to come.

The Old Trout B&B is conveniently located on Orcas Road to Eastsound 3.2 miles from the ferry landing. Our sign is on the left side approximately one quarter mile beyond Deer Harbor Road.
